Carson River -Rolling A River Park
The rolling A River Park here in Dayton Nevada is one of the local gems that not even the locals know about. This 2 plus mile trail along the river has many surprises when hiking. From horse, deer, coyotes, beavers, ducks, geese, quail and few rattle snakes.
With the many old majestic cottonwood trees shading the trail much the way and the wild sage brush one seems secluded from the rest of the River Park Estates. The Carson River meanders down for about 2 miles thru the cottonwoods. After a good hardy rain the river takes on an entirely different character and the wildest is shown.
The slide show is just some of the pictures we have. Enjoy!
Mr Cool is the best solution to a bad situation. We lost our 20 year old AC unit. The cost for a central AC system was well over our budget. I have been telling my wife that when the AC fails, I wanted to go to a zone system. The efficiency of these split systems far exceeded any Central AC. And on top of that, you can install as many units as you need and control them based on room usage.
But I had no idea until we installed our first 18K BTU unit how efficient the unit is. This Mr Cool Split System is super. This unit has been cooling our whole house with no problem through days of almost 100 degrees. The internal unit is so quiet. And you can’t hear the outside unit standing right next to it outside. The old AC was so loud, we could hear it running from every room in the house. Even in Turbo, its quiet.
On top of that, it has an APP that you put on your and with that you can create schedules that control every aspect of this unit every minute of the day. And the app also provides immediate controls. Plus you can turn off the app and control it with your remote which many features similar to the app.
It is totally automatic. You can set a range or a single temperature and it will maintain that temperature for both heating and cooling.
Below is a video of the outside unit. The background noise is my sprinkler system. The Outside unit makes no noticeable noise. This units were installed and running in a couple hours. It uses 230v and is fused for 20 Amps. The old system used 40 Amps plus a separate circuit for Furnace Fan.
